David will be presenting The Exercise Connection: Activities for Physical Education, under the Adaptive PE portion of the conference.
Sonya Ansari Center for Autism has adopted the EC Philosophy. David will host three presentations, one for the centers staff and one for the parents. Then the parents and children will join the staff and participate in exercise stations. It will be an incredible and informative day for all involved! |
David has been working with Autism One since 2008. He has been named by Founder, Ed Arranga, as an Honorary AutismOne Dad! In 2010 he will be hosting the Dad's Night, a first time event. This event will give dad's who attend the annual Autism One Conference a chance to relax and spend time with their peers.
From 2008-2010 David was a Program Asssitant and Fitness Coordinator at Giant Steps, a therapeutic day school for children with autism. David developed the first Special Recreation Program for Giant Steps, which received a grant within 8 months of its implementation. Watch the TV clip below to learn more. |
