I see children on the autism spectrum for their capabilities not their disabilities.....

For the last seven years David has worked on all levels of fitness. He co-founded Right Fit, was an Assistant Strength Coach for the University of Iowa Football Program, privately trained former NFL lineman Tony Pape, and has worked for multiple nationally recognized health clubs. He also worked as a Mental Health Technician at Hinsdale Hospital, counseling youth and teens with drug addictions, family difficulties, suicidal tendencies and helped youth who were diagnosed with ADD and ADHD.

David found his passion while at Right Fit when he began developing personal exercise programs for children on the autism spectrum. There he helped design a physical education program for Giant Steps, the only therapeutic day school in Illinois for children with autism.

Currently, David is the Recreation Coordinator for Giant Steps, where he designs fitness classes for children of all ablilities on the autism spectrum from 5 to 21 years old. Davids roles as Founder and President of the Exercise Connection has led him to present his philosophy across the United States with a mission to bring exercise to the lives of all children with autism spectrum disorders.
